Banana Cake


BISMILLAH HIR RAHMAN NIR RAHEEM


Ingredients:

Maida - 2 cups
Butter / refined oil - 125gms
Castor Sugar - 1cup
Mix fruit / vanilla essence - 2 drops
Ripe bananas (peeled & mashed) - 2 (medium sized)
Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
Eggs - 2
Curd - 2 tbsp


Method:

- Sieve the maida and the baking powder together.
- Beat the butter until soft.
- Add the sugar, vanilla essence and bananas, and continue beating till the mixture turns fluffy.
- Add the eggs while beating continuously.
- Gently fold in the maida and the curds.
- Bake at 200 deg celsius for 45 minutes.
- Let cool and then decorate with fresh banana slices and cherries.
- Best consumed immediately.
